Contains 1 cardboard game board with 5 removable squares, 16 round tokens of different colors (12 cardboard, 4 wooden), 5 purple rectangular wooden tokens, 2 rectangular wooden tokens.

Cardboard box in good condition despite some color loss (see photos)
Box size: 28.5 x 24 x 4 cm or 11 1/4 x 9 1/2 x 11/2 inches.

The game of Nain jaune appeared in France around 1760 and spread throughout Europe before gradually falling into oblivion. It came back into fashion during the interwar period (1920-1940).
