Women's or children's snowshoe moccasin, laced, high ankle and decorated with a fringe at the top.
Deer or caribou colored leather and suede.
Felt interior, plush.
Probably late 1970s.
7 silver metal eyelets (A little surface rust inside 2 eyelets on the right foot).
Ornamental black stitching on the top of the foot.
The synthetic laces in yellow and brown shades are not original.
Model: coureur de bois, trapper, native, mixed race.
Called "beu shoe" in Quebec.
Moccasin that can still be used.
Some wear spots (see photos).
Wear, tear on the edge of the ankle of the left foot (see photos).
Inner sole length: 21 cm or 8 1/4 inches.
Width at widest point: 9 cm or 3 1/2 inches.
Height: 20 cm or 7 7/8 inches.
