Jacket and skirt set from Fraid's Montreal.
A semi-fitted jacket with long sleeves and a tailored lapel collar (the collar drop is slightly rounded) in red/coral pink.
4 French buttonholes on the front of 1 1/4 inch or 3 cm with 4 round buttons with gold metal shank and same fabric as the set (6/8 inch or 2 cm).
+ 2 same smaller buttons on false pocket flaps of 5/8 inch or 1.5 cm).
Label (inside collar), Fraid's inc. Montreal (Léo Chevalier, Canadian fashion designer, began his career there in the 1960s as a manager-buyer.
Label (inside front flap) A Saltaire fabric, made in England (Sir Titus Salt was a visionary both in the manufacture of his alpaca fabrics and in the design of a city. In both cases, he placed the comfort and happiness of human beings at the center of his concerns!
