On this car the engine was placed at the rear, and the driver had perfect visibility. In 1900, the French army became a client of Émile Mors: who would later sell his factories to a young manufacturer named André Citroën.

Wishing to evoke through Tintin the history of means of transport, peoples, countries, etc., Hergé developed the Chromos project with the help of E.P. Jacobs.
The first images appeared in 1946 in the Tintin magazine and the chromos could be obtained in exchange for Tintin stamps.
Initially broader, the project narrows down and becomes the history of means of transport.
The 300 existing chromos are signed Hergé and appear in two stages.
First in collaboration with E.P.Jacobs appeared the series AÉROSTATION and CHEMINS DE FER
Then in collaboration with J. Martin appeared the series THE AUTOMOBILE FROM THE ORIGINS TO 1900. AVIATION WAR 1939-45. AVIATION FROM THE ORIGINS TO 1914. THE NAVY FROM THE ORIGINS TO 1700. THE NAVY FROM 1700 TO 1800.
