A follower of the clear line inspired by Hergé, François Craenhaels collaborated with the magazine Tintin for which he first created Pom and Teddy then Chevalier Ardent. Passionate about the Middle Ages, he created Chevalier Ardent in 1966. This saga continued for 30 years and thus became his most accomplished work.
