Here is a very rare copy of a small format book (11.5 x 8 cm) by Pierre Corneille (1606-1684).

HORACE, a play in 5 acts, is Corneille's first historical and Roman tragedy. He thus opens the second part of his career. CINNA, POLYEUCTE and THE DEATH OF POMPEY will follow and with this evolution, he turns his back on tragicomedy (LE CID).
