Very nice octagonal box in vintage metal with on the lid a floral decoration on a black background and on the sides empire pattern.

Blue Bird Toffee is a toffee brand, founded in Hunnington, near Birmingham, England, in 1898 by Harry Vincent.
Vincent had similar ideas to Cadbury and the Frys in that the workplace was a pleasant environment to work in.
Vincent's toffee was originally called Harvino, but after watching Maeterlink's 'The Blue Bird of Happiness', he renamed the product Blue Bird.
