Vintage poster depicting the coat of arms of the Canadian province of New Newfoundland and Labrador. Probably late 1950s.
The coat of arms of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador was granted by King Charles I in 1637.
The colors of the flag of St. George, originally a red cross on a white background are reversed to mark an alliance by making the coat of arms distinctive. The lion and unicorns are inspired by the royal coat of arms of England.
This is a beautiful performance of a heraldic poster from the 50s. Handmade lettering and drawing. Finish with gold paint.
Very interesting vintage chart.
Good vintage condition except split lower corners right (see photos)
Resplendent colors
