The photographer Bernard Jacobs had his studio at 19, Vieux marché aux vaux in Ghent (Belgium) between 1888 and 1909. Between the years 1893 and 1903 he was a photographer for the city of Ghent.

The cardboard is slightly stained at the top of the back (see photos)
