Powder blue waffle fabric set, long sleeve collarless jacket with A-line sleeveless dress
Probably the end of the 50s already moving towards the 60s, when "the waist was until then marked to create an ultra-feminine silhouette, the straight dress arrives. The waist is hidden for the benefit of the legs which are completely revealed".
Label, Very cheerful. It seems that this brand existed in the 50s with the California index.
No indication on the fabric, it has a waffle effect and appears to be a cotton polyester blend.
Button and decorative belt made of the same fabric.
Jacket lining other than sleeves with interior patch pocket 4 by 4 3/4 inches or 10 by 12 cm.
Lining of the dress above the bust with zipper at the back.
Very good condition apart from tiny little holes on the back because the clips have been undone, perhaps for an enlargement and could be sewn back on. (see photos).
