Last adventure of Blake and Mortimer drawn and written by E.P. Jacobs (1904-1987). The second part of the story is produced by Bob de Moor from the sketches and the script left by Jacobs during his lifetime.
Passionate about opera, initially an advertising illustrator, Jacobs worked for the Belgian magazine Bravo! and began in comics during the Second World War by completing an adventure of FLASH GORDON in place of the author ALEX RAYMOND whose boards no longer arrived in Belgium because of the world conflict. He was later inspired by FLASH GORDON to create "LE RAYON U".
He participated with HERGÉ in the creation of the JOURNAL TINTIN and created the series BLAKE ET MORTIMER which would have 8 episodes.
Like HERGÉ, JACOBS is considered one of the masters of the clear line and of the Belgian school of comics.
